Who Qualifies for the NSFAS Bursary?

To qualify for the NSFAS bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
• Have a combined household income of R350,000 or less per annum
• If living with a disability, the combined household income must not exceed R600,000 per annum

Note: NSFAS does not fund students studying at private colleges or universities.

What Does the NSFAS Bursary Cover?
